This afternoon was rather productive. I sipped on a Mango Kombucha while doing some school work this afternoon. It was NOT pretty but tasted really good!
A few days ago, Al from Country Bob’s contacted me and offered to let me try their All Purpose Sauce. I made some simple BBQ Tofu with it by drying it out with a clean dish cloth, baking the tofu in the oven for 15 or so minutes on each side at 400*, then spreading it was the sauce and baking it for an additional 15 or so minutes. It was the perfect texture and really tasty!

On the side I made a quinoa pilaf of sorts. I sautéed red onion and garlic in ghee (clarified butter) with a little bit of dry mustard and cayenne then added the cooked quinoa and some steamed broccoli. I liked it, and so did my Mom, the taste-tester for the evening. She made lots of happy eater noises like “Mmm,” and “Ooooh.” That’s when ya’ know you did good!

Country Bob’s has popped up a few times on other blogs recently such as KERF, and What I Ate Yesterday to name a few. It is really delicious!
