Home At Last

by hungryyogini on February 12, 2009

I’m HOME! My test went pretty well last night and I finished around 9:40pm and hopped right in the car to drive home to Tampa. I got in around 11:45 or so and was EXHAUSTED. My mom was super sweet and had my bed turned down for me. Isn’t she cute!?

Raleigh greeted me and hasn’t left my side since I got home. It’s really cute. She slept at the end of my bed last night and every time I go to another room she follows me. She is sitting in front of me as I type. Even when I shut the door to my room or the bathroom you can hear the little thud of her head as she tries to follow, despite the door being shut! She’s such a little lover. Here she is this morning…

Sorry for the lack of post last night. I had to pack my computer! But here’s a little recap. Yesterday afternoon, between studying and packing, I ran to the store and got this:

And later I had this:

Oh, and this:

I was a snack MACHINE. (Pun intended)

It was worth the late night drive last night to be able to wake up at home! I’ve driven at night a few times and it’s nice because there is no one on the road. I passed out when I got back and got up around 8:00 this morning.

I was rather tired this morning and wasn’t in the mood for a production (aka stovetop oats) so I kept it simple with a plain Ezekiel English muffin spread with a thin layer of Barney Butter, 2% fage with maple syrup mixed in, and fresh strawberries. It was delish, like strawberry shortcake for breakfast.

Not quite sure what’s on the agenda today. I know there will be some yoga, and DEFINITELY some cooking. I have a LOT of reading to do too, between school and yoga. My teacher’s manual was waiting for me when I got home and I started reading this morning. I’m so excited!

Oh, and stay tuned for a giveaway later today!!

Whew, that was a long one. Happy Almost Friday!

What kind of dog is that? Is it a Labradoodle?? Beautiful!

Leah,

Yep! She is a labradoodle and sweet as pie!

I have wanted a labradoodle for ages. I would love it if you’d email me. I’m curious to know what she was like as a puppy (not sure how long you’ve had her?) and what she’s like around children. My fiancé and I are considering getting this breed of dog in the next year and I’d love to know your experience with her!
