Day-O-Love

by hungryyogini on February 14, 2009

We had a LOVELY day here Tampa. It was gorgeous outside, not a cloud in the sky. Did you have a nice day? Anything special for Valentine’s Day?

My parents wanted to cook up something extra special for dinner tonight. In our house, this usually means filet mignon. I, however, just don’t do red meat. They went to Fresh Market this afternoon to pick up the steak and came home with a small roasted turkey breast just for moi! It was very thoughtful and loving. For sides, I roasted some red potatoes with garlic, rosemary, EVOO, and s&p and made a salad with organic spring mix, cucumber, radishes, and steamed and chilled broccoli. It was a yummy meal and nice that all 4 of us (mom, dad, bro, me) sat down together.

I used my dad’s Canon EOS 30D tonight. It was fun to play around with a fancy pants camera. I think the pictures turned out pretty durn good.

I went around the table and asked each person to say one thing they loved and were thankful for at dinner. I am definitely lovin’ all this time at home! I will have a lot of it coming up in the near future. Next weekend is yoga TT, the following is a blogger lunch in Tampa (!), and the next NEXT weekend starts Spring Break! I’m super happy about it.

No big plans for tonight for this girl. I’m just going to savor my free time and share some love with the fam. Hope your night is full of love too!
