Good Morning!
Today I have to head back up to school…boo. As much as I love my friends at school, I just love being home! I have a lot to look forward to this week though, including lunch with Ryan, and a few other events goin on’. Then I get to turn right back around and come home again this weekend. All is not lost!
This morning, I made some Hot Date Oats. Mmm. I have been using the 365 brand Dark Chocolate (70%) Mini Chunks. They are pretty good but I think I prefer the Ghiradelli Dark Chocolate (60%) chips. Didn’t ya know? I’m a chocolate connoisseur! (That’s just a fancy word for chocoholic!)
Usually when I go to bed at night, I have the best intentions to do yoga first thing in the morning and then eat breakfast but every morning when I wake up, I am so hungry that I have to dart to the kitchen. I know a lot of you exercise before breakfast…HOW DO YOU DO IT!? No, but seriously, how do you do it? Maybe I just need to develop some discipline? I think I will maybe start having a small piece of fruit or something first thing, then yoga, then a real b-fast. Maybe? I’d love to hear your ideas!
Anyway, I will probably hit the road (Jack) around 2pm or so to head back after I:
- YOGA
- pack
- finish my laundry (woops)
- run to Target
A few more things…
I have added a Recipes page! It is very small right now but I will be continually updating it as I continue to blog.
Also, I added a picture to the “The Yogini” page, so now you have a face to go with the blogger!
Have a wonderful Sunday!

Love the new pages!
Hi, I’m new and love your blog. I am a 20 year old college student too and I am looking forward to reading more about your yoga teacher experience because i want to start my yoga training soon!
I usually do yoga in the mornings and I have to have a small snack before or I start to feel nauseous while I’m exercising.
I have to go back to school today too. Have a safe trip!
Oooh the PB on those oats – yum! I love the new pages :)
I always run first thing in the morning! I can run up to about 10 miles on an empty stomach, but any more than that I have to breakfast first. I eat alot before bed though, so I think that helps. Usually a big bowl of granola. I just wake up drink some coffee to move things along, then head out. I am usually hungry when I wake up but it goes away once I start working out. It just works for me, everyones different!
Seriously, have to have a small breakfast before workout or else I will “toss my insides out”….so I am with you! Foods look yummy!
Lovin’ the new pages! Exce’-lent-taaaa’..lovin’ your blog!
