Coffee is Best in Ice Cream Form

by hungryyogini on March 10, 2009

Mid morning I hopped on my mat for some yoga. Just a quick 30 minute session to warm my body up and get that sleepy feeling out. I think I may actually go to a class tonight. Still deciding. After yoga, my mom and I went to Target. We hadn’t been in ages…oh how I love that place. I picked up a copy of Bethenny Frankel’s new book Naturally Thin and am excited to read it. She attended the Natural Gourmet Institute which is where I want to go.

I had these little treats on the way to Target:

We finished up at Target around 1:45pm. I was so surprised it was already almost 2pm and I hadn’t gotten hungry for lunch yet. Must have been that large helping of peanut butter from breakfast.  I was slightly hungry when I got home so I made a quick wrap with Boar’s Head Natural Tuscan Turkey, sliced apple, and spinach. It was a yummy combo!

Then I had some coffee:

Confused? That’s my new Gotta Have Java frozen yogurt from Stonyfield Farm.  I was killing two birds with one stone…low fat dairy and coffee! This stuff is good you guys. Tastes just like a sweet cup of joe! YUM! Coffee flavored ice cream is definitely one of my favorites. I also love vanilla…pure and simple.

What’s your favorite ice cream or frozen yogurt flavor?

may have to try that! I am not the biggest ice cream person, but there is one type of frozen yogurt I LOVE – Vanilla Honey & Granola Frozen Yogurt by Haagen Dazs.

That wrap looks delicious! I should try that combo.

My top 3 fav flavors are coffee, mint chocolate chip, and moose tracks!

Agreed on the froyo! My favorite ice cream flavor is actually coffee oreo. Rare, but the best thing ever.

I’ve worked in a restaurant that makes their own ice cream since I was 17, so I’ve become a bit of an ice cream snob ;) I love mint oreo and malted milkshakes!

Oh my gosh, I love coffee flavored ice-cream, especially when it’s made by Starbucks. However, I would have to say my favorite ice-cream flavor is anything involving chocolate and mint. Love that combo! Also, I prefer some chunks in my ice-cream. Think Ben & Jerry’s – they are chunkified geniuses!

Your pictures are looking amazing by the way. :)

I love those chocolates! As as for ice cream, any chocolate flavor wins for me!

Moose tracks is my fave ice cream and frozen yogurt I’d say is this toffe pecan crunch kind. I love all ice cream and their close relatives!!!
