Good Morning! I got home last night around 11:00pm. I’m always so glad when I drive home at night because it means I get to wake up in my own bed and enjoy a full day in Tampa. Oh and by the way…there wasn’t even a DROP of rain on my drive! Pshhh, so much for weather.com!!
When I woke up, I was greeted by some goodies that had been delivered by the food fairy.
What could it be!?
I couldn’t believe my eyes. This self-confessed Fage-oholic has never seen a more beautiful site! I can’t wait to sample these over the weekend…and there may be a little sum-sumthin’ in it for you next week!? (Hello peeps, it’s called foreshadowing.)
(…my goodies, my goodies, my goodies, not MY goodies. I bet you want the goodies, bet you thought about it… Ciara, anyone?)
AND I also had a lovely tea care package waiting for me:
I’m 99% sure that Island Mango and Peach White Tea is going to be a winner. Doesn’t that sound delish? Thanks so much to Stacy, my little food fairy up in NYC, for these awesome goodies! I can’t wait to try them all.
Moving on. I made myself a glorious bowl of Peanut Butter and Banana Oats on the stovetop this morning. In the mix:
-1/3 cup oats and 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp flax
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- cinnamon
- 1 small banana
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
I enjoyed this deliciousness with Raleigh sitting at my feet..
…which eventually turned into her sitting on my feet. You’d think we had been separated for ages with the way she has been following me around. She slept in my bed last night and continues to be my shadow this morning. You can even hear the little thud of her head when she tries to walk into a closed door to follow me. She knows her mama =)

i’ve had the island mango and peach tea before! it was def very good, but when that’s the only tea ya have to work with, i got sick of it by the end unfortunately. i don’t se emyself drinking it ever again haha, but seeing as you have like a billion other teas to occupy your taste buds you should be juuust fine :)
