Oh my gosh. I don’t even know where to begin. I am so full of life and love and joy right now thanks to this evening’s session with Micheline Berry. What a beautiful night!! I am so thankful to be a part of this community of amazing yogis here in Tampa and for the experiences and opportunities that are unfolding in front of me.
Tonight was all about finding fluidity in the body. The movements were so graceful and beautiful and I felt so in touch with a deeper sense of myself. As someone who has spent a lot of time not trusting my body and not always loving and respecting it, it is so refreshing and liberating to find comfort, peace, beauty and connection. I truly felt like my body was special, and deserving of the beauty I felt from the sequences.
After a graceful asana sequence, we cleared the floor for some “zen dancing.” The first time I did this about a month ago, I felt quite silly and not totally comfortable but tonight, the space felt safe and I immediately let go and just did what my body felt. I felt so alive and am still buzzing with an abundance of energy and joy. I’m still sitting with the experience and know that more and more thoughts and feelings will emerge as the weekend goes on. Thanks for listening as I share my experience, as I know some of this yoga talk might be strange and overwhelming for some. I just had to share!
Ok so let’s rewind a little. I mean, this is a food blog after all and I know you just won’t sleep a wink if you don’t know what nourished my body for this amazing night of yoga, right? So here’s what I nibbled on throughout the day:
There were a couple more snacks but I’m gonna save those for tomorrow so I can give you a bit more info on them, K?
Oh, and Raleigh got her hurrr did. She’s a tad…well…naked.
Night guys!

What a great day :)
that sounds really fun! I’d like to know more about zen dancing
Oooh, the asana sequence sounds so invigorating!! Fabulous!!
That stuffed date should be rated X ;-)
RALEIGH!!
Your yoga talk isn’t strange for me, I love it. I am glad that you felt so free and comfortable. I’m so jealous!!
Haha, doggies with their first summer hair cut always look so awkward. Last year, they shaved all my dogs hair off except for his tail!! He looked so dorky! :) I love your yoga talk, it reminds me of the reasons I got into yoga in the first place. Enjoy your weekend!
Beautiful yoga sequence! I’m glad you got in touch with your body and connected so well =)
Oooh puppy!

That’s so great that you loved it so much! I can’t wait to find a class to go to regularly. Love hearing your commentary on yoga class types!
