Laptop CPR

by hungryyogini on May 19, 2009

My computer has been revived. It’s ALIVE! My friend Stephen is a LIFESAVER and gave my laptop CPR this afternoon. I’m happy to report that it is back to perfect health. Thank you Stephen! (He is also the photographer behind our cool yoga photo shoot the other day!)

It’s another gloomy day here in Tampa and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t enjoying it and wish the sun would come out. I’m so dark and mysterious…Ok, kidding. But I really love it! I find it to be so soothing. Does that make me crazy? Don’t answer that.

Breakfast this morning was 100% raw. Well, if you don’t count the cup of coffee I had about 30 minutes later.

This mix was 1/3 cup of oats and 1 tbsp flax soaked overnight in the fridge with some “cheater’s raw almond milk” which is just filtered water, raw almond butter and raw honey blended together. This morning I added some thawed organic blueberries (that were oddly small!) and some raw almond butter. It was very good! I’m really loving this breakfast. It’s a nice, light start to the day.

Lunch was quite good too. Probably the best wrap I have made in a while! I put some Sabra spicy hummus, sun dried tomato, leftover roasted Fresh Market turkey, 1/4 of an avocado and a giant handful of spinach onto an Ezekiel tortilla. YUM!

Of course there was dessert. I finally tried the Tempt Chocolate Fudge “Ice Cream” from Living Harvest and I have to say it was my favorite flavor of the samples they sent me. It was really creamy like ice cream or fro-yo rather than icy much like many other non dairy desserts. I enjoyed it thoroughly!

I would definitely recommend this flavor!

This evening I’m going to a yoga flow class and am rather pumped to get to class! I’m feeling strong and ready for a 90 minute class. WOO!

Hope your Tuesday is going GREAT!

Glad to hear the laptop has been revived! Thank goodness for those technology-gifted friends. ;)

That warp does sound amazing! I love ezekiel sprouted grain tortillas. They are so filling and never seem to break no matter how full I stuff them!

Have fun at the yoga class!

Yay for technologically-savvy friends! And though I looooove sunny days, there are also days when I’m in the mood for overcast skies – it’s not weird ;)

Eats look great – I’m dying to try the Living Harvest fro yo, and ya can’t beat a wrap with Sabra and avocado. Your breakfast looks yummy too – I like the blueberry addition… the little guys are usually from Maine and are super sweet!

I love computer people! They are seriously the most helpful people in the world! Because nothing is worse than a bad internet connection or laptop problems!

I love the picture of the rain and your happy face tree!

I’ve had my laptop almost bite the dust on me and I know it’s the cause of mini heart attacks! I was in a tortilla wrap mood today too :-)

What a cool tree!
At first I thought “Tempt ice cream” was “Tempeh Ice Cream.” That would be a little odd. But I bet hemp milk chocolate ice cream tastes pretty good.

That’s so funny that you find the rain soothing because I just wrote about it last night.

That breakfast looks great – I’ll have to try my hand at some raw breakfasts soon!

How are the oats raw? I’ve been wanting to make raw oatmeal but I have no idea how to.

I need that ice cream!!!
