10 cent tour.

Well…it’s definitely pink.

I’m all set up in my home away from home, and I must say…I’m a lot happier here than I thought I would be. I know that sounds kind of strange, but I was a little worried this time around. I was quite comfortable in my Tampa surroundings; a full kitchen, a beautiful house to live in, and the constant company of my little yoga community that helped me grow so much over the past few months. The idea of change wasn’t sitting well with me, but I’m pleasantly surprised with how comfortable I am. Maybe it’s because I’ve got a little bit of all of that with me in spirit Open-mouthed

The past few days have been quite exciting. The Naughty Pets van has been spotted…

…and many Bumpits have been purchased by sorority women across Alachua county. Looks like there is a poof-less woman wandering around Gainesville.

Most importantly, the fridge has been stocked.

We got a ginormous  (what? It’s a word...) new Publix here in town and it has pretty much everything you can imagine. Here’s a little of what I got.

Yes, that is coffee-mate creamer you see. Don’t judge.

Oh, and I’ve already fired up the rice cooker for some delicious chia seed oatmeal with peanut butter this morning. YUM!

Well, I’m off to enjoy my room. Have a good one, folks.

Love the pink. And you can fit quite a bit in that mini-fridge…might just mean you’ll have to go grocery shopping a little more often, but that’s never a pad thing. ;)

Cuuuute room! And loving your Coffeemate Creamer–yum yum! I move up next Wednesday I think. I’m nervous too.. so used to it here at home :( Maybe we can meet up for Krishna one day!!! I’ve been craving their salad dressing all summer.

Do people really use bumpits? I guess I’ve been out of the college scene too long…

I love your room. You fridge is well stocked, much better than I ever did as an undergrad. I remember cans of carnation instant breakfast, oj, and carrots.

Well it was worth the 10 cents to get that tour! I especially loved the couture bedding, and that bump-it laying in the mulch! I was laughing so hard! Yooooouuuuu funny, girl!

Nice job on the room…..looks very cozy! Enjoy! and splash some of that creamer whereever you want….those small pleasures are always fun! 8-)

Your room looks great Courtney! I’m slightly jealous that you’re back in Gainesville and I’m not, but I’m in Tampa right now at USF so I guess we’ve switched places a bit?

OH! Make sure you meet up with Lindsey from Mrs. LC–she just moved up there yesterday!

Aww so cute! And that mini fridge is NOT so mini!!! That’s very cool, you should be able to stock up on all your necessities :)

Also, I’m giving away a SpiBelt (running belt with pouch) on my new blog (recently moved from blogger to http://www.ChicagoMarathonVal.com), if you are interested! :)

Coffee mate is totally a guilty thing I secretly love!

26 Mrs. Myers @ Eat Move Write August 13, 2009 at 11:16 pm

I think this must be a move to school. If so, it’s adorable, and I love it.

27 Luna August 14, 2009 at 4:56 am

I was watching the picture of “bumpits” and honestly wondering why would any woman need hunting traps in your college,I mean, it must be in the wild… then, I wisited the link  (sorry, i live outside the USA and never heard of bumpits before!!)

28 Katrina (gluten free gidget) August 14, 2009 at 7:30 am

Have you tried vanilla almond milk instead of coffee creamer? I got my hubby to switch from FF Vanilla liquid creamer to the vanilla almond milk and he loves it. Worth a shot! :-) Have fun at college!!!!!!!!

29 Maya August 14, 2009 at 11:42 am

AH your rice cooker usage is really innovative! It makes me think I might just buy one for college next year, they sound really versatile! What else can you cook in them?

30 She-Fit August 14, 2009 at 1:14 pm

Yay! I love the room set up. Your bedspread is so cute. Love the pink

31 Diana (Soap & Chocolate) August 14, 2009 at 3:42 pm

LOL the Bumpit comment cracked me up. Your room looks so much less college-ghetto than mine ever did! Nice job with the decor! And Coffee Mate is so a worthwhile guilty pleasure. WHY is it so GOOOOOOD?

32 Jennifer August 26, 2009 at 11:53 am
