Watering the Money Tree

by hungryyogini on October 18, 2009

I often joke that I have a money tree growing in my back yard. Need to spend lots of cash? “Hold, on. Let me just step out back and water my money tree.”  I often dream of how amazing it would be if this were possible. Well my friends, dreams do come true…

Let’s take a closer look…

Hey, where’s that guy going with my money tree!? Ahh yes, never a dull moment at the thai temple. Ok, I lied. It was a bit dull when I realized they didn’t have my beloved coconut custard! But I survived.

I ventured over there today with some very sweet friends. The weather was beautiful, and the company was wonderful.

Yep, foodie heaven. If you ever in Tampa on a Sunday, you need to check this place out!

It’s been a wonderful weekend here at home. Confession: I’ve left Gainesville every weekend this semester except for one. Don’t judge. There’s just something about home. So many of the people I love are here, and I just can’t get enough. A full kitchen and a cozy room to sleep in aren’t too bad either…

Mmmm, cozy.

I leave you with one of my very favorite quotes. I think I’m going to make this my mantra for the week…I could use it Open-mouthed

“There is a force within which gives you life – seek that. In your body lies a priceless gem – seek that. O wandering soul, if you want to find the greatest treasure don’t look outside, Look inside, and seek that. “

–Rumi

Night, friends.

Whow, first I thought there might be a chance I could purchase a money tree and then disappointment….then I see all that wonderful food and think….whow, I think I am hungry I want some of that….then I suddenly feel tired and see that cozy bedroom…..so, I was wondering…..can you just ship all that to me and bill me LATER!

What a fabulous day! 8-)

What a wonderful quote!

There is no place like home, embrace your amazing house and amazing family- there’s nothing wrong with it!
And that food looks mouth-watering divine.

Everything at the Thai Temple looks so good- especially money growing on trees!

The pumpkin curry, fried sweet potatoes and Thai soup look amazing. I think I need to come to Tampa just for this Thai Temple celebration. Does it occur every Sunday?

your room belongs in a Martha Stewart catalogue – it makes me feel warm inside :)
