The travel time to one that's open year round just doesn't work for our family. But in the summertime, I love farmer's markets! It is possible to eat unhealthy at some of the ones I've been at - fresh breads, baked goods, different meats. I have to rely on the good ol' grocery store in the winter. And I still overspend! LOL! The market was only once a week and it was basically me shopping with the old folks and the moms but I just love the ambience. I try and go to the farmers market when it's in season. Enjoy it!
