What a full day! Your photos are beautiful : ) Cheese class sounds like soooo much fun. I am jealous of all of the walking & stairs in Europe - then exercise becomes more a part of life and less like something you have to block time off to do.

Oh, I love your scarf : )

Your day looks so active and exciting! Also, I would give anything to take that cheese class. Don't worry, I would've laughed out loud too at the teacher's "cut the cheese" remark.

Wendy,
Sure! I'll write a post about my camera equipment. These photos were just taken with a point and shoot - my Canon SDS880. The other photos are with a Canon 30D DSLR and a 50mm or 18-135mm lens. I'll share the details soon!

AshleyH,
Yep - no fruit. I actually haven't had a banana since I've been here and it's really the only think I like in oats. Lately I do this: oats in bowl (don't know how much cuz I don't have a measuring cup!) with water. Cook for 1 min. Stir in 1 egg white, cinnamon, salt. I stir really really well so that the egg white just blends in and you can't taste it - otherwise you get actual pieces of egg white. Bleh. Pop it back in the micro for about 1 minute and 15-30 seconds. Top with lots of almond butter and Bonne Maman strawberry jam. Et voila! :)
