Ok, so this will be a mostly picture post (hence the title – a somewhat silent Saturday). You didn’t think I could go without saying anything did you?
Spring Break is upon us, thank God. I don’t think I would have made it another day without a little rest. School has been crazy and I’m so glad to have a whole week to just relax.
Well. Sorta.
I’m pooped after a long day walking around the city. Here’s what we saw…
Disco balls in the metro. Totally normal.
Pere Lachaise…
Montmartre, my very favorite part of the city…
Classy.
Street Performers in front of Sacre-Coeur…
And last but not least…parking in Paris. Always seems like a daunting task.
We went all over the city today, and I’m wiped. Expect a full report tomorrow!
Bon week-end!

You take beautiful photos,. The one of the stained glass window is beautiful, and the few that follow- all breathtaking!
you know, you said it’s silent saturday, but those pictures really do speak for themselves! what an amazing city you’re in :)
The parking..in Paris…made me laugh! We would have anger-management issues in US, I’m afraid!
Enjoyed your silent saturday….the pictures were very entertaining with my thoughts!
i feel bad for the owner of the car that did not run into the other!
I love following your Parisian travels! UF misses ya!
Visiting your blog is such a visual treat. Keep the beautiful Paris photos coming!
I just love your photographs. Just beautiful :-) Aloha!
mhm. silent but a picture says a thousand words and you’ve said many more than that!
Great pictures for the day! Love that random disco ball :) Enjoy your week off!
Disco ball! Paris is ultra classy :)
Love the pics! That guy is doing capoeira! I practiced that form of martial arts for more than 5 years. I would love to get back into it but can’t afford classes.
Are you taking any cheap euro flights over your break or just enjoying Paris? Either way, have a great spring break! You deserve some rest!
Love the pictures! I wish we had disco balls on the Subway in Toronto! ;)

Breaks from classes are always welcome and are definitely needed. Enjoy your time off!
i used to love watching french people park their cars!! i couldn’t believe how they would bang back and forth, trying to wedge their car into a too-small space. my french friend told me that they call that “faire un bisou”…to kiss the other car…and i used to tell her that it was more than just “kissing”…!!
love your pere lachaise photos…wish i knew where mine were. that place is one of my favorite places in paris, and one of my fave places to take pics!!
Parking in Paris! So funny. My husband and I visited Paris a couple of years ago and watching people park became our dinner entertainment! It is amazing what a different sense of space they have.
