I am so intrigued by jicama. Maybe it’s the fact that I always forget the silent j when talking about it (resulting in many instances of public humiliation), despite the fact that I know it’s pronounced “hickama.” Or maybe it’s the fact that I just don’t really know what it is. Is it a fruit? [...]
